Description

DAY 1 Head to the 'Todo Turismo' office at 8:30 PM for check-in, then the bus will depart at 9:00 PM. Onboard, enjoy: dinner (meat and vegetarian option), breakfast, bottled water, one hot drink, heating, restroom, blanket, Wi-Fi, and a first-aid kit. DAY 2 Arrive in Uyuni at 7:30 AM and head to our office, located 1 block from the bus station. Afterward, enjoy free time to buy snacks and water. Your tour starts at 10:30 AM with a drive to the Uyuni Salt Flat. The first stop is the eerie 'Train Cemetery' on the outskirts of Uyuni. Next, visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miner workshops next to the salt flat), where you’ll also find salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. These make excellent souvenirs. Continue to the Uyuni Salt Flat: Ojos de Agua Salada (Saltwater Eyes), a hotel entirely made of salt now used as a museum, Flags of the World (where you can bring and place your own flag for free), and a Dakar Monument. Lunch will be served near 'Isla Incahuasi' (Fish Island). Afterwards, you’ll have time to hike to the island’s summit to see giant cacti and coral-petrified rock formations. Take time to arrange your group for fun perspective and proportion-distorted photos on the dazzling white surface of the salt flats, playing with the scene—you’re sure to get some fun and memorable photos! DAY 3 Start at 7:00 AM for breakfast. Visit: Galaxia Caves, Chiguana Desert, Ollagüe Viewpoint, the rocky path 'El Pasito Tuntun', and the famous Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota lagoons where you can see flamingos. At the end of the day, enter the 'Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve,' visit the Siloli Desert, the Rock Tree, and the vast Red Lagoon to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat. Spend the night at a hotel in Huayllajara. DAY 4 Start early, around 5:00 AM, to visit the Morning Sun Geyser, hot springs for a bath in the natural pool at 35ºC, Dalí Desert, Green Lagoon, and White Lagoon at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. Next, return to Uyuni, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way and having a picnic lunch by the roadside. On the way, pass through the Valley of Rocks, the settlement of Alota, and the village of San Cristóbal, where you can see a baroque church and colonial paintings. Take the bus to La Paz at 8:30 PM - Departure at 9:00 PM. Same 'Todo Turismo' bus with onboard services. DAY 5 Arrive in La Paz at 6:30 AM. End of the tour: 'Todo Turismo' office.
