Description
Day 1: Sunset + Starry Night Salar de Uyuni The first day we begin with pick-up from the terminal or airport and transfer to the Hotel in the salt flat, in the morning and part of the afternoon free, then pick-up from the hotel to start the Sunset and Star Night tour in the Uyuni Salt Flats. After reaching the privileged point, we will begin to appreciate the immensity of the Milky Way and be able to take photographs with a beautiful starry background. Once the tour ends at approximately 10 pm, we will drop you off at the Salar hotel. Note: The entire salt flat is very reflective and in the rainy season (December - May), there is a small layer of water that gives it a mirror effect. Our star tours normally run all year round, except on full moon days, as the brightness of the full moon obscures the stars and prevents them from being visible. Day 2: Train Cemetery - Colchani - Incahuasi Island - Salar de Uyuni We begin with pickup from the hotel in Uyuni at the agreed time, then we will head to the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we head to the community of Colchani (gateway to the Salar) where we will find rustic craft workshops and the rustic microprocessor of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, salt eyes and the Playa Blanca salt hotel that currently only functions as a museum. Then we will visit the most popular island in the middle of the Salar, Incahuasi Island, where we will walk and see large expanses of cacti, marine rock fossils, and spectacular 360° views from the viewpoint. At the end of our tour, we will return to the hotel in the Uyuni salt flat. Day 3 On the third day you will be transferred to the bus station or airport.Includes
