Itinerary Day by Day Day 1: Hito Cajón - Huayllajara After completing the migration process at the Chile-Bolivia border, depart from Hito Cajón, the Bolivian border point, at 9:30 a.m. in a 4x4 vehicle with an English-speaking guide. Highlights of the excursion include: Viewpoint of Lincancabur Volcano Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca Salvador Dalí Desert Polques Hot Springs Morning Sun Geysers Red Lake with flamingos Overnight Stay: Basic hostel in Huayllajara: shared room with 6 beds for the same group from the 4x4 excursion, with shared restrooms. Meals: Lunch and Dinner. Day 2: Huayllajara - Agencha Begin your journey after breakfast at 8:00 a.m. with visits to: Stone Tree Siloli Desert Laguna Cañapa Laguna Hedionda Laguna Chiarcota At the lagoons, you can observe flamingos in their natural habitat. Next, continue along the rocky road to visit: Viewpoint of Ollague Volcano Valley of Rocks Overnight Stay: Basic hostel in Agencha: double or shared room with 3 beds for the same group from the 4x4 excursion, with private restrooms in each room. Day 3: Salar de Uyuni - City of Uyuni Begin your journey after breakfast at 8:00 a.m. with visits to: Salar de Uyuni Isla Incahuasi (to see giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations) A hotel made entirely of salt, now used as a museum and restaurant Flags of the World (where you can bring your own flag and place it for free) Dakar Monument Next, continue visiting: The small settlement of Colchani (salt miner workshops next to the salt flats) Here you can find salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool, which make excellent souvenirs. Overnight Stay: Uyuni Town Hostel Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Day 4: City of Uyuni - Hito Cajón Start the day with breakfast. Then, head to the Uyuni Train Cemetery for some photos. Next, continue your road trip to the Bolivian border at Hito Cajón. Lunch en route. Upon arrival, your guide will assist you with the migration process.
