DAY 1 Train Cemetery- Colchani- Salar- Incahuasi Island 1 Train Cemetery We started the tour visiting an open-air museum of the Old Train Cemetery that is located on the edge of the city; where we can remember and imagine the glorious mining era of the region. 2 Colchani In the Town of Colchani we can see how the locals take part of the extracted salt and, letting themselves be carried away by their imagination, use it in the production of handicrafts. Creating different things such as photo frames, jewelry boxes, local animals and other accessories that capture the Andean landscapes. 3 Salar de Uyuni The wonderful Salar de Uyuni, known as the largest salt desert in the world, is like a mirror that reflects the sky. Surrounded by mountains and volcanoes that reach 5000 meters above sea level. 4 Incahuasi Island We arrive at Incahuasi Island in the center of the salt flat, where we can observe large populations of cacti, sea rock fossils, local fauna and spectacular views of the salt flat from the summit of the island. Then we will go to the hostel 'La Cabaña de Sal' in the town of San Juan, where we will rest until the next day. DAY 2 Volcano- Desert- Lagoon 1 Ollague Volcano We will have breakfast and then leave around 8:00 am. A.M. Starting with a visit to the Ollagüe Volcano, located on the border of Bolivia and Chile. To the south are the Cañapa and Hedionda lagoons, where there are a large number of flamingos and other species of birds, such as geese and Andean seagulls. These lagoons surrounded by snow-capped volcanoes, accompanied by a green skirt, are a wonderful landscape where you can take very beautiful photos. 2 Siloli Desert It is characterized by its rock formations, a product of the strong winds that the region presents, such as the stone tree. 3 Laguna Colorada The Laguna Colorada is characterized as the main nesting center for three different species of flamingos. Where also algae and plankton, activated by solar radiation and the wind, give them their characteristic color. Then we will conclude our day by going to the LATITUDES Hostel. DAY 3 Morning Sun - Salar- Termas de Polques - Licancabur Volcano 1 Morning Sun Geyser Within the Eduardo Abaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, we will go in search of the well-known Sol de Mañana Geysers. This is the highest point of the route, at about 5000 m. The cold is intense. 2 Salar de Chalviri The desert and Salar de Chalviri is another scene of great landscape value that combines white snow, the Ocher desert, blue water and white borax. 3 Laguna Verde Finally, leaving this desert valley, we will visit another charming place such as Laguna Verde, at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. Finally we will finish with our tours, some if you wish, you can do it in Pedro de Atacama Chile or return to Uyuni at approximately 6:00 p.m.Includes
