And it's so big that it seems like every train in South America was moved to Uyuni, Bolivia, to take its last drink. 2 Colchani Just outside the salt flats of the Salar de Uyuni is the picturesque salt processing town of Colchani. During your stop in Colchani, you can see crafts made from salt and textile art made from llama and alpaca. 3 Uyuni Salt Flats It is considered one of the most extreme and notable views in all of South America, if not on Earth.
