Description

Embark on a 7-day trek through the Andes Mountains in Bolivia. Admire the stunning landscapes of the Cordillera Real, with its high peaks, pristine lakes, and beautiful trails. Day 1.- La Paz-Laguna Khotia-Ajwani. Early morning start and drive through the Altiplano with English-speaking guide in a private 4WD vehicle. About 2 hours of driving until we get to this beautiful area where we have some pristine lakes around. 4.450m. then we ascend slantingly to the east of the lake Khotia, then we reach the pass of 4800m. In the afternoon we arrive to the Ajwani Lake 4400 Mts. 5 hours hike. B.L.D camping DAY 2 Ajwani – Jurikota lake. From this splendid lake we continue toward the north end of the same one, we go by morrenas crossing two passes of 4900 mts, with impressive views of Left’s wing picks, and the Head of the Snowy Colossus Condoriri. 6 Hours Hike. B.L.D 6 camping 4400 mts DAY 3 Jurikhota Lake – Pico Austria Condoriri lake Chiarkota We will start from Laguna Juri Khota and take on the Austria pass at 5,300 m. from there we descend towards Laguna Chiar Khota (4,600 m.) to camp. This location is also the base camp for any climbing expeditions into the Condoriri range. 6 hours hike. B.L.D camping DAY 4 Two passes of 5000 Mts – Botijlaca Huayna Potosí base camp Today we will be able to observe the west side of Huayna Potosi Mt (6088m) from the second 5000 meters pass, and we will start to descend to arrive to our camp in Botijlaca. B.L.D. camping Six hours trek. Day 5.- To Huayna Potosí base camp Today we feel the humid air from the amazon, the first vegetation with flowers and birds at 3600 mts. We will walk down during two hours in order to take our vehicle to the base camp of Huayna Potosí mountain 4600 mts.. Leissure Afternoon. Camping B.L.D Day 6.- Huayna Potosí high camp During four hours we will ascend to the high camp at 5300 mts. Day 7 Huayna Potosí Summit- La Paz After breakfast 01:00, we will start to head up to the glacier, heading for the east face and ascent the Pala, then we continue all the way up until we arrive to the summit of the Huayna Potosi Mt. (6080 meters), about six hours of ascent. Once we get to the top we’ll be able to enjoy breathtaking vistas of the Andes Mountains. Descent to “Campo Alto”, and then to the base camp where our vehicles are waiting to drive us back to La Paz.B.L
