Description
ITINERARY DAY 1: Train Cemetery - Colchani - Salt Hotel - Incahuasi Island The start of the tour will begin with a visit to the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we head to the community of Colchani where we will find rustic craft workshops and the rustic microprocessing of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, eyes of the salt flat and the Playa Blanca Salt Hotel which currently only functions as a museum. Later we will visit the most popular island of the Salar, Incahuasi Island where we will walk and be able to appreciate large extensions of cacti, marine rock fossils and spectacular views. At the end of our tour, we will go to our salt flat to rest. DAY 2: Ollague Volcano Viewpoint - High Altitude Lagoons - Siloli Desert - Stone Tree - Laguna Colorada The day begins with breakfast at the salt flat. We start at the Ollague volcano viewpoint, to appreciate a volcanic desert landscape and the sparse high Andean vegetation. Then visit the Chiarkota lagoon, Hedionda lagoon, Onda lagoon, Ramaditas lagoon, these lagoons are surrounded by flamingos that use them as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements and at noon we try lunch on the route. We continue our trip to the Siloli desert, where the stone tree is located. We continue our way to Laguna Colorada, which is very striking due to its reddish color. Continuing, we arrive at the town of Huayllajara where we will enjoy dinner, and spend the night in a community family accommodation DAY 3: Fumaroles - Polques hot springs - Laguna Verde - Valley of the rocks - San Cristóbal - Uyuni The day begins very early in the morning with breakfast and departure to the fumaroles and cracks in the earth where volcanic lava, sulfurous gases. Following the route we will arrive at the hot springs (waters that are beneficial for the healing of arthritis) where you can take a bath and rest peacefully. We continue the trip through the second desert on our Salvador Dali tour, which has an excellent panoramic view and resembles this desert landscape. Later, we arrive at the green lagoon, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. Then we went to the town of Uyuni making stops to visit Villa Mar, Valley of the Rocks, the town of San Cristobal, its Stone Church and finally we continue finishing our tour in the town of Uyuni. Optional Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama: After visiting the green lagoon, you can take the transfer to the Hito Cajones border between Chile and Bolivia and then transfer to San Pedro de Atacama by shared transport (Check the extra price for the transfer)Includes
