Description
Day 1: We will begin exploring the Train Cemetery to observe the old locomotives. Then, we will head to Colchani, gateway to the Salar, where we will see artisan workshops and salt processing. We will continue to the majestic Salar de Uyuni, stopping to observe salt extraction, the “eyes of salt” and the Playa Blanca Salt Hotel, now a museum. Then, we will visit Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti and panoramic views. In the afternoon, we will head to our accommodation in the Salar to rest. Day 2: After breakfast, we will depart for the Ollague Volcano viewpoint to enjoy the desert and high Andean views. We will visit several high-altitude lagoons such as Chiarkota and Hedionda, home to flamingos. We will continue to the Siloli Desert to see the Stone Tree and finally arrive at the impressive Laguna Colorada. We will spend the night in Huayllajara. Day 3: We will start early with breakfast before exploring fumaroles and cracks in the earth. Afterwards, we will enjoy Polques Hot Springs for a relaxing bath. Continue to the Salvador Dali Desert and Laguna Verde, located at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. After visiting Villa Mar and the Valley of the Rocks, we will arrive at the town of San Cristobal. Finally, we will continue to Uyuni to conclude our trip. Optional transfer to San Pedro de Atacama: After visiting Laguna Verde, you can opt for a transfer to the Hito Cajones border and then to San Pedro de Atacama by shared transport (ask for an additional cost).Includes
