Description
Day 1: Train Cemetery – Colchani – Incahuasi Island We will begin our magical journey by collecting passengers from their cozy homes in Uyuni, and then delve into history at the charming Train Cemetery, witness to ancient locomotives. We will continue to Colchani, a rustic entrance to the Salar, where craftsmanship and salt production will envelop us in their charm. Later, at the majestic Salar de Uyuni, we will witness salt extraction and marvel at the iconic Hotel Salado Playa Blanca, a jewel in the middle of the white desert. Our day will culminate on Incahuasi Island, an oasis island in the heart of the Salar, where we will walk among giant cacti and marine fossils, embraced by 360° panoramic views. Day 2: Ollague Volcano Viewpoint – Siloli Desert – Stone Tree – Red Lagoons We will wake up with the sun in our salt lodge and head to the Ollague Volcano Viewpoint, where nature gives us a desert and volcanic landscape of singular beauty. Then, we will explore the magical Chiarkota and Hedionda lagoons, home to flamingos and dreamlike landscapes. In the Siloli Desert, the famous Stone Tree will captivate us with its mysterious shape. We will conclude our day at the hypnotic Laguna Colorada, a natural spectacle in reddish tones, before immersing ourselves in the warmth of Huayllajara, where we will share a family dinner and rest in a community lodge. Day 3: Fumaroles – Polques Hot Springs – Laguna Verde – Hito Cajones- San Pedro de Atacama We will wake up before dawn to explore the fumaroles and cracks in the earth, witnesses of volcanic power and natural magic. Then, we will immerse ourselves in the beneficial hot springs of Polques, an oasis of healing and rest. We will continue towards the surreal Salvador Dali Desert, where the landscape will transport us to another world.
