Description
Enjoy a day trip to Lake Titicaca. Sail the waters of Lake Titicaca and visit the island of Uros, an artificial island that floats on the water. Learn about local customs and then head to Taquile Island for a delicious local lunch. Start your excursion with a pick up at your hotel in Puno, then with your guide you will go to the dock to board the boat to the island of the Uros. Upon arrival, the locals will tell you about their customs and traditions, handed down by their ancestors and still preserved. Then, take a walk around the island of Taquile, where you will learn about the origin of the customs. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the local women before heading to the handicraft market, where you will learn about their weaving techniques. Once the excursion is over, you will board a boat that will take you back to the dock. There you will be taken back to your hotel in Puno.Includes
