Description
Day 1: Puno - Uros Islands - Amantani 07:30 a.m.: We start our trip with pick up at your hotel in Puno. Boarding: We head to the port to take a boat to the Uros Islands. Uros Islands: Discover the fascinating floating islands built with totora reeds. Our guide will tell you the history of this unique community and their adaptation to the lake environment. Trip to Amantani: After the visit to the Uros, we will sail for approximately 3 hours towards the island of Amantani. Arrival and Welcome: You will be greeted by a local family who will take you to their home to enjoy a traditional lunch. Afternoon: Enjoy a walk around the island and climb to the top to contemplate one of the most spectacular sunsets of Lake Titicaca. Day 2: Amantani - Taquile - Cusco Breakfast: Savor a typical breakfast prepared by your host family in Amantani. Trip to Taquile: After saying goodbye to the family, we will set sail for the island of Taquile, which is an hour away by boat. Taquile: Hike to the top of the island, explore the artisan market and see the famous chullos (traditional hats) made by the local inhabitants. Lunch: Enjoy a lunch with typical dishes while marveling at the panoramic views of Lake Titicaca. Descent and Return to Puno: Descend the 538 stone steps and return by boat to Puno. 17:00: Arrival in Puno and transfer to the bus terminal. Travel to Cusco: Departure to Cusco. Culminates with your arrival in Cusco in the morning.Includes
