Description
ITINERARY After picking you up at the agreed meeting point in Puno at 6:50 a.m., we'll head by bus to the Bolivian city of Copacabana. We'll cross the border and arrive at our destination around 11:00 a.m. Once there, we'll take a walking tour, admiring the façade of the 17th-century Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria and discovering why this city is an important pilgrimage site in the country. Afterwards, we'll stop to recharge our batteries with a meal that includes a chicken or trout dish and a drink. Afterwards, we'll head to the port where a boat will be waiting to take us to the nearby Isla del Sol. Enjoy the views of Lake Titicaca! When we disembark, we'll begin a guided tour of approximately two hours. Is it true that this area is home to the fountain of eternal youth?
