Description

DAY 1 Go to the 'Todo Turismo' office at 8:30 pm for check-in, then the bus will depart at 9:00 pm. On the bus, enjoy Dinner, Breakfast, Bottled Water, 1 Hot Drink, Heating, Cleaning, Blanket, Wi-Fi and First Aid Kit. DAY 2 Arrival in the city of Uyuni at 7:30 am. Free time to buy coffee, snacks, water and more. (We have FREE TIME because all tourist companies and tourist sites are available from 10:30 am onwards) Then, go to our office at 10:00 am. The tour starts at 10:30 am. The first stop is the eerie 'Train Cemetery', located on the outskirts of Uyuni. Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miner workshops next to the salt flat), where you will also find salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. These make excellent souvenirs to take home. Lunch will be served around noon along the way. Next, visit the Salar de Uyuni: *Salt Water Eyes *A salt hotel-museum, *Flags of the World (where you can bring your own flag and place it there for free) and a Monument to the Dakar races. Then, have time to take an excursion to the top of Incahuasi Island to see giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations. Next, take time to organize your group for fun perspective photos on the dazzling white surface of the salt flats, playing with the scene—you're sure to capture some funny and memorable photos! 1st Night Stay: Agencha Hostel: Shared rooms of 3, 4, 5 and 6 beds + Shared bathrooms. / no Wi-Fi DAY 3 Depart at 6:30 am for breakfast. First stop, Chiguana Desert, on the southern side of the Salar de Uyuni, surrounded by volcanoes like the still active Ollagüe, which can be seen from the viewpoint. Then, visit: Cañapa, Hedionda and Chiarcota Lagoons where you can see flamingos. After lunch, enter the 'Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve', visit the Siloli Desert (the highest and driest in the world), and take a photo next to the 'Rock Tree' (a lava rock formation), Red Lagoon to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat. 2nd Night Stay: Huayllajara Hostel, shared rooms of 6 beds + Shared Bathrooms / no hot water for showers (to avoid pollution in the National Reserve) / no Wi-Fi DAY 4 Start early, around 5:00 am, to visit the Géiser Sol de Mañana and walk next to steaming fumaroles and bubbling mud pots. Then, you'll have the opportunity to take a bath in some 35°C outdoor hot springs. The following places: Dalí Desert, Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca Then, return to Uyuni, enjoying picturesque landscapes along the way and having a picnic lunch by the side of the road. Arrive in the city of Uyuni between 5:45 pm and 6:45 pm. Then, go to the Bus Office on your own at 8:30 pm. Departure of the bus from Uyuni to La Paz at 9:00 pm. DAY 5 Arrive in the city of La Paz between 6:15 am and 6:35 am. End point of the tour: Main Bus Station in the city of La Paz.
