Admire the stunning architecture of the Copacabana Temple, take a boat ride on Lake Titicaca, and visit the Island of the Sun. Start your day with a 7:40 AM pickup from the bus station in La Paz. After a scenic drive, arrive in Copacabana around 12:00 PM. Your first stop will be the iconic Copacabana Temple, also known as the Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana. Admire its stunning architecture and learn about its significance before breaking for lunch. After your meal, embark on a relaxing and panoramic 1½ hour boat ride across the shimmering waters of Lake Titicaca to reach the enchanting Island of the Sun. Once on the island, have the opportunity to walk the ancient Inca Steps and drink from the Inca Fountain, believed to bestow eternal happiness. Continue with a hike to the Ruins of Pilcocaina, also known as the Temple of the Sun. This hike may be a bit challenging but rewards you with spectacular views of the Sacred Lake Titicaca and its main island. After soaking in the breathtaking scenery and exploring these historical sites, return to Copacabana by boat for another 1½ hour ride. Finally, take a local bus back to La Paz City, with an expected arrival at your hotel around 10:30 PM.Includes
