Description

Day 1 Mountain bike pick-up starts from 7:30 to 08:30 am. Stage 1: Descend 22 km on paved road. At the checkpoint (45 min. away), pay 50 BOB entrance fee. Gain confidence on the bike. The Safety Car follows the group of cyclists with stops for water, photos and bike checks. Stage 2: Experience the 'Road of Death' with a 10 km descent on a rocky road. Stage 3: At about 32 km. it starts with a splashing waterfall!!! Finally, the end of the tour is in Yolosa. The next stop is at a hotel with showers, swimming pool and buffet lunch. At about 17:00 it is time to return to La Paz by car. At the end of the 'Road of Death', the guide will drop you off at the Bus Office (Bus from La Paz to Uyuni). Take all your BAGS with you because you will not be returning to your hotel. The bus leaves at 9:00 PM. Second Day Arrival in Uyuni town at 7:30 AM. Free time to buy coffee, snacks, water and more. (we have FREE TIME because all tourist companies and tourist spots are available from 10:30 AM) then go to our office 10:00 AM. Start the tour at 10:30 AM. The first stop is the eerie 'Train Cemetery' which is located on the outskirts of Uyuni. Afterwards visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners' workshops next to the salt flat), there you will also find crafts made of salt, and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. They are excellent souvenirs to take home. Lunch will be served around noon on the way. Next, visit the Salar de Uyuni: *Saltwater eyes *Salt hotel-museum, *Flags of the world (where you can bring your own and put it up for free) and a Dakar Race Monument. Next, have time to hike to the top of Incahuasi Island to see giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations. Next, take time to organize your group for a fun perspective: distorted photos, placed on the blinding white surface of the salt flat, playing with the scene, you are sure to get fun and memorable photos! 1st Night: Agencha Hostel Third Day Start at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast. First stop: Chiguana Desert, on the south side of the Salar de Uyuni, surrounded by volcanoes such as the Ollagüe, which is still active and can be seen from the viewpoint. Afterwards, visit: Cañapa, Hedionda and Chiarcota lagoons where you can see flamingos. After lunch, enter the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, visit: Siloli Desert, Rock Tree, Red Lagoon and flamingos. 2nd Night: Huayllajara Lodge Day Four Early start 5:00 a.m. visiting: Sol de Mañana Geysers, Free time in Hot Springs at 35 Cº water. Then return to Uyuni, enjoying picturesque landscapes along the way and having a Picnic lunch on the side of the road. Arrive in the city of Uyuni between 17:45 and 18:45. Afterwards, go to the Bus Office on your own at 20:30 h. Bus departure from Uyuni to La Paz at 21:00 h. Fifth Day Arrive in La Paz between 6:15 and 6:35 a.m. End of the excursion: Main Bus Station in La Paz.
