Description

First Day Mountain bike pickup begins from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Stage 1: Descend 22 km on an asphalt road. At the checkpoint (after 45 min.), pay 50 BOB for entry. Gain confidence on the bike. The Safety Vehicle follows the group of cyclists with stops for water, photos, and bike checks. Stage 2: Experience the 'Death Road' with a 10 km descent on a rocky path. Stage 3: At about 32 km, it starts with a splashing waterfall!!! Finally, the end of the route is in Yolosa. The next stop is at a hotel with showers, a pool, and a buffet lunch. Approximately at 5:00 p.m., it’s time to return to La Paz by vehicle. At the end of the 'Death Road,' the guide will drop you off at the Bus Station (Bus from La Paz to Uyuni). Bring all your BAGS with you because you won’t be returning to your hotel. The bus departs at 9:00 p.m. Second Day Arrival in the city of Uyuni at 7:30 a.m. Free time to buy coffee, snacks, water, and more. (We have FREE TIME because all tourist companies and attractions are available starting at 10:30 a.m.) Then go to our office at 10:00 a.m. The tour begins at 10:30 a.m. The first stop is the eerie 'Train Cemetery,' located on the outskirts of Uyuni. Next, visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miner workshops next to the salt flat), where you will also find salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. These are excellent souvenirs to take home. Lunch will be served around noon along the way. Next, visit the Salar de Uyuni: Ojos de Agua Salada (Salt Water Eyes), Salt Hotel-Museum, Flags of the World (where you can bring your own flag and place it for free), and a Dakar Monument. Then, have time to hike to the top of Isla Incahuasi to see giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations. Afterward, take time to organize your group for fun perspective shots: distorted photos placed on the dazzling white surface of the salt flat, playing with the scene—you're sure to capture fun and memorable photos! First Night: Agencha Hostel Third Day Start at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast. First stop: Chiguana Desert, on the southern side of the Salar de Uyuni, surrounded by volcanoes like Ollagüe, which is still active and can be seen from the viewpoint.
