Description

Day 1: Cusco - Puno Meet at the bus terminal in Cusco in the evening and board your overnight bus to Puno, the bus departs from Cusco at 9:30 pm. The address to the terminal is Alameda Pachacuteq 499 B Day 2: Puno - Uros Floating Islands + Amantani Overnight Stay After a night on the road, arrive in Puno in the morning, around 5:00 am. Transfer to our partner hostel where you can store your luggage for free, while you go on the tour. If you wish to order breakfast, you will be able to do so. At 7:15 am you will be picked to go on the tour. At 8:15 am, you will board the boat to Uros Islands for a guided tour of the famous “floating reed islands”. Around 10:30 am you will cruise the highest navigable lake in the world to the remote Island of Amantani. At 1:30 pm, you will arrive at Amantani, where you will meet your host family as well as check in to the family homestay. There, you will have a typical lunch in the family's house made from natural products. You will be able to do intercultural activities with the local family. Around 4:00 pm, you will have the option to hike up to Pachatata temple to watch the sunset. Dinner is normally served at 7:00 pm, later you can take part in local dance and music or relax and rest in the family's house. Day 3: Llachon Peninsula Typical breakfast in the family house is served at 7:00 am, before the transfer to Llachon Peninsula. Arrival in Llachon Peninsula is approximately at 10:00 am, there witness the seasonal activities of this rural community. You will have free time to enjoy one of the most picturesque locations on Lake Titicaca. Lunch will be served around 12:00 pm. At 1:30 pm, catch the boat back to Puno, arriving around 4:00 pm, you will be dropped off at our partner hostel, a few blocks from the central plaza. Free bag storage, and if you wish to use their facilities for a low price. Pick up from our partner hostel is between 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm, this will be an overnight bus. Day 4: Cusco The bus will arrive in Cusco around 5:00 am, and you will be dropped off at your hotel/hostel.
