Description

**Day One** - - - - Mountain biking starts at 7:30 AM. Point 1: It involves a 22 km descent on paved road. At the police checkpoint (after 45 minutes), all visitors pay Bs. 50 for entrance to the national park. This first section is to help you gain confidence and get used to the bike. Don’t worry, the safety van always follows the group, and we have stops for water, photos, and bike checks. Point 2: 'Death Road' for about 10 km. Always stay in a compact group (safety first!!!) and it’s also time for a snack. Point 3: About 32 km. It begins with a waterfall splash!!! Finally, the end of the route is in Yolosa, where the next stop is a hotel with showers, a pool, and a buffet lunch. Around 5:00 PM, it’s time to return to La Paz via the new road. At the end of the 'Death Road Tour,' the guide will drop you off at the bus office for you to catch your bus from La Paz to Uyuni. **Bring your luggage because you won’t be returning to your hotel**. The bus departs at 9:00 PM. **Day Two** - - - - Arrive in Uyuni at 7:30 AM and head to our office, located 1 block from the bus station. Free time to buy water, snacks, and use the restrooms. Your tour starts at 10:30 AM, departing from Uyuni to the Salar de Uyuni (full-day tour) with a visit to the Uyuni Train Cemetery to see Bolivia’s first locomotives and take amazing photos. Next, visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miner workshops) and see salt crafts and textile art made from llama and alpaca. Take photos while navigating the vast white salt flat. Then, visit 'Ojos de Agua Salada,' a hotel made entirely of salt, which is now used as a museum, the Island of the Flags of the World, and the famous Dakar Monument. Lunch will be served near 'Isla Incahuasi,' followed by time to hike to the island's summit to see giant cacti and coral-petrified rock formations. From the top, admire the 360º view of the Salar de Uyuni. Take your time to arrange your group for fun perspective and proportion-distorted photos on the dazzling white surface of the salt flat. Next, head to a large area to experience a beautiful sunset over the salt flat with a glass of wine and some chips. Return to Uyuni at our office by 7:00 PM. Then, go to the Bus Office at 8:30 PM, as your bus from Uyuni to La Paz departs at 9:00 PM. **Day Three** - - - - Arrive in La Paz at 6:30 AM. The end of the tour: La Paz bus station.
