DAY 01: COLCA CANYON 08:00am to 08:30am - Pick up at the meeting point in Arequipa. 08:30am - We begin our journey to one of the deepest and most beautiful canyons in the world. Our trip takes approximately 4 hours until we reach the main town of Chivay, making tourist stops along the way. We will pass through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where we will be able to see the vicuñas, the main camelid that inhabits the area, then we will visit Patahuasi very close to have the traditional coca mate, a traditional drink essential for altitude sickness. Later we will make a short stop at the Toccra Bofedales where we will observe a large number of Alpacas grazing freely in the area. Mandatory stop at the Mirador de los Volcanes, the highest point of the road that reaches 4800 meters above sea level, from where we will appreciate a large part of the western mountain range. From this point we will begin the descent towards the town of Chivay, arriving in approximately 40 minutes. Free time for lunch in Chivay. Then we will settle in our respective hotels. In the afternoon we can enjoy a relaxing bath in the Hot Springs whose thermo-medicinal waters range between 35º C and 40º C in temperature in the pools. At night it is optional to participate in a dinner-show. Overnight. DAY 02: MIRADOR DE LA CRUZ DEL CÓNDOR After breakfast we will move to the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, which is 30 minutes away, an observation point of the Colca Canyon and, if possible, appreciate the spectacular flight of the Condor. At this point we will spend an average of 45 minutes to observe the beauty of the valley. On the way back we will stop at the viewpoints in the area from where we will observe the impressive Andenería del Valle and in the town of Maca, where we will see its church and optionally taste local drinks such as the Colca Sour, made with local products. area. Lunch time. 01:00pm - We begin the trip to our next destination: Puno, the city at the foot of Lake Titicaca, we will board another vehicle with perfect features for our comfort and with a guide accompanying us we will make stops at the most attractive points on the way to Puno, including the High Andean Lagoons where we will appreciate a variety of typical birds and camelids as well as a privileged view of these lagoons. We arrive in the city of Puno at approximately 7 pm disembarking at the same bus terminal that is located a few minutes from the main square.
