Description

Day 1: Uyuni Salt Flat - Tayka de Sal. We will start at 8:00 a.m. to enter the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world. The vast white expanse of salt, covering 12,000 km2, unfolds before us. You will have the opportunity to witness the sunrise and capture breathtaking photographs, playing with the unique perspective that this place offers. Then, we will visit Incahuasi Island, located in the heart of the salt flat, from where you will enjoy a 360° panoramic view of this immensity. After this experience, we will continue our tour, passing through Colchani, a town dedicated to the processing of salt, where you will have the opportunity to buy some souvenirs. Finally, we will head to the Tayka de Sal hotel (or similar) to spend the first night. Day 2: Salt Tayka - Tayka del Desierto. After an early breakfast, we will depart from the Tayka del Desierto to San Juan, where we will begin our journey to the Chiguana salt flat. On the way, we will visit the Ollagüe viewpoint to contemplate the impressive landscape of the Andes Mountains. We will continue to a series of altiplanic lagoons, including the Hedionda Lagoon. We will then enter the Siloli Desert, a place that will offer us a photo stop. Our next destination will be the Laguna Colorada, a place where flamingos find their natural habitat. Afterwards, we will head to the Tayka del Desierto Hotel (or similar) for our second night's lodging. Day 3: Tayka del Desierto - Quetena. After enjoying breakfast in this impressive place, we will continue our trip by vehicle to the Sol de Mañana geysers. From there, we will continue along the road that crosses the Salvador Dali desert until we reach Laguna Verde, at the foot of the majestic Licancabur volcano, right on the border between Bolivia and Chile. Afterwards, we will cross the Chaiviri salt flat, where we will make a stop to enjoy the hot springs before lunch. Afterwards, we will head towards the Kollpa Lagoon, where you will have the opportunity to take pictures before continuing our journey to Quetena, where we will spend our last night of the tour. Day 4: Quetena - Tupiza. After enjoying the last breakfast of the tour, we will head towards San Pablo de Lipez, a town located at 4250 m altitude. On the way, we will pass through the mining community of Nazarenito and then head towards El Sillar, where we will stop to admire the scenery and take pictures. Finally, we will pass through the Quebrada de Palala before arriving in Tupiza, where our tour concludes.
