Description

Day 1 We start by visiting the Train Cemetery (very old locomotives from the coal era), Colchani village, (manual salt processing, crafts, salt museum), continuing with the trip Entering the Uyuni salt flat (12,000 km2) we can see the Salt Piles, Salt Extraction, Salt Eyes, White Beach, Salt Hotel, Incahuasi Island. (Giant Cactus), coral stones. After this visit we continue our journey to the town of San Juan, to spend the night at the hostel. Day 2 The trip starts at 08:30, starting to visit the Salar de Chiguana, the Ollague Volcano viewpoint (active volcano), visit the highland lagoons of Cañapa, Chiarcota, and Turquiri located at an average altitude of 4,300 meters above sea level where we can see flamingos, vicuñas or other animals, Siloli desert observing the Stone Tree or other rock transformations whose formation is due to the erosion of time, already in the afternoon arriving at the Laguna Colorada (4,300 meters above sea level) where you can see a large number of wild animals including flamingos or vicuñas, later we would be arriving at HUAYLLAJARA. Night at the hostel at an average altitude of 4,300 meters above sea level. in rooms; Double or triple rooms/shared bathroom and shower service. In the months of June, July, August the temperatures are very low in winter (-20 C°) therefore it is recommended that the client should have his own sleeping bag. Day 3 On this last day of the tour the trip departs at 05:00 am to visit the geysers or active volcanoes of SOL DE MAÑANA located at an altitude of 4,900 meters above sea level, where you can see the fumaroles or boiling lava at a temperature of 90 C°, hot spring pools (Polques), the Dali desert. Later on, visit the green and white lagoons located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. Later (10:30 am) arriving at the Chilean border of Hito Cajon to make the connection by bus or van in direct transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, ending the trip around 1:00 pm.
